    		 What size and format of pics are you trying to upload?
    You customize your page by pressing Customize Display above your profile picture in your profile. There you will find three tabs, one for changing page colors, one for uploading a background (If you want one large picture as the background it should be 1280px by 960px) and one for uploading a banner (990px by 140px). Pics should be either jpg or gif.
